Porchfests are events where various neighborhoods setup porches and bands for afternoons of music! Audiences can stroll from block to block, taking in the local sounds.

Porchfest.info created and runs the websites for nine of these events (Medford, Fenway, JP, Melrose, Newton, Belmont, Dedham, Natick, Ashland/Hopkinton) and has consulted on several others, most notably creating the Somerville main map page. The core websites handle online signup, provide advanced scheduling tools for admins, and host the resulting map and schedule sites in a robust, scalable way to handle the crush of event-day traffic, and include abilities for the generation of print materials.
